Going in I try not to research too much because I like to be surprised.

Tour + Wine and Food Pairing: Excellent!
U7631SMamandaw, October 2026
We spent 4 days in Nashville and were looking to expand our exploration by getting out of downtown for our last day. I admit, we had minimal expectations for Belle Meade, the tour, and the wine and food pairing. I figured it would be "just another tour of a mansion", that the wines wouldn't be to our dry red preferences, and the food would be fine but basic.
Wrong on all counts
We lived our tour guide Claire. She is adorable, fun, and lively. We were lucky enough to be on her first tour. I bet she will be a favorite tour guide before too long.
Our Sommelier Quinn was so impressive. Very knowledgeable, personable, and fun. We met some lovely people that day, in the spacious but somehow still cozy tasting table area.
The food was great! Complements to your chef.
The pairings were spot-on and we really liked the wines. We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with the people we met at the tasting, drinking the Iriquois Red.

We had a very knowledgeable guide for our tour. Interesting & beautiful grounds. The wine tasting was fun as well, & we purchased a bottle to enjoy after in the garden.
