Discover what makes French pastries truly special by stepping inside a working Parisian boulangerie — not just to watch, but to bake like the artisans do. Proudly named Viator Experience Award Winner in 2023 and 2024, this tour is recognized among the top-rated family experiences for guest satisfaction and authenticity.
During this 2-hour experience, you and your family will learn how iconic French breads and pastries are created from scratch, in the very place where locals buy their daily baguettes. Unlike tourist-style demos, this visit offers real behind-the-scenes access to the production area — where dough is mixed, folded, laminated, and baked before sunrise.
Children and adults roll up their sleeves to:
- Shape baguettes and rustic breads
- Roll their own croissant
Kept intentionally small (max. 9 guests), this award-winning experience is intimate, family-friendly, and deeply authentic — a chance to step behind the counter and access a world normally hidden from the public.

Hands-on workshop:
- Learn how baguettes and country breads are shaped
- Roll your own croissant and shape your baguette
- Bake your creations and take them home, warm from the oven
Cherry on top: make classic Financiers from scratch — bake, taste, and bring the rest home (if you don’t eat them first ).

An absolutely fantastic experience! We had the BEST time at this cooking class! Our instructor was phenomenal—knowledgeable, engaging, and so much fun. The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire experience was even better than we could have hoped for. From start to finish, everything was wonderful, and it was such a memorable way to spend our time. I truly can’t say enough good things about this class. If you’re considering booking, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed!

Not worth the cost!!!!!
Meera_R, October 2026
The class was very overpriced for what we did. Its more of a roll a baguette and croissant class but you dont actually make anything from start to finish. The bakery seemed surprised when we showed up. The class shows 2 hours but we only started 30 minutes later and it ended in an hour. They did offer coffee and pastries on arrival but did not seem fresh. We like a class like this should cost maximum $30 per person. Very disappointed and feel like this was a waste compared to all our other tours and experiences in Paris.
