Fantastisk dag ude, fantastisk værdi for pengene. Angela havde masser af interessant information om Cypriens historie samt nogle nyere fakta og data. Smukke par af traditionelle landsbyer i bjergene (som vi måske kommer tilbage til). Sammen med et besøg hos Afrodites klippe, vandfald og vingård. Afhentninger og dagen var til tiden.

Skam, vi fik ikke den annoncerede tid i Omodos

Minibussen, der blev leveret, syntes mekanisk uegnet til formålet. Det var meget langsomt og havde svært ved at bevæge sig op ad bakkerne. Lavede også mange urovekkende kvæk!
Selvom turen på Viator gav forskellige tidspunkter til stopet, blev disse ikke fulgt på turen, og i stedet for at få 2 timer i Omodos til frokost og udforskning, plus yderligere 40 minutter til at besøge klosteret; havde vi kun 1 time og 45 minutter til at gøre alt – hvilket effektivt betød, at vi mistede en time og ikke havde mulighed for at se alt, hvad vi havde ønsket. Vi blev fortalt af guiden, at de aldrig tillader de 2 timer og 40 minutter, da chaufførerne har en maksimal køreperiode på én dag.
Faldene er pæne, men ikke spektakulære, og jeg ville ikke rode med at tage der igen.
Både Lofou og Omodos landsbyer er smukke. Aphrodites Rock er et dejligt strandområde og en god fotomulighed.

We understand how disappointing it must have been to feel rushed and unable to visit all the places you had planned to see.
Please note that tour schedules are approximated depending on the tour day and timings at other stops and can be adjusted due to ro, group timings. While the itinerary timings listed are intended as a guide, they cannot always be guaranteed exactly as stated. Nevertheless, we appreciate that the reduced time affected your overall enjoyment of the trip.
Regarding the vehicle, we take concerns about passenger comfort and safety seriously. Your comments regarding its speed and unusual noises have been noted and will be passed on to the relevant transport provider for review.

Vi bookede denne tur gennem vores hotelreception og betalte en depositum for den. Vi fik 08 : 15 som vores afhentningstid fra vejen foran Queen's Bay. Vi var der tidligere og ventede, sammen med flere andre mennesker, som alle blev hentet af deres egne turoperatører. Efter at have ventet i over en halv time i den stærke sol uden ly eller siddepladser, ringede jeg til ConstructTOURS for at spørge ind til forsinkelsen. Jeg talte med Aris, som i starten fortalte mig, at vi ikke havde foretaget en booking, før han fandt den i deres system. Han annoncerede, at bussen var gået, og tilføjede … . "Vi er mennesker, og sådanne ting sker." Han sagde, han kunne få os med på næste dags bus, og selvom jeg forklarede, at vi ville rejse dagen efter, insisterede han på at gentage, at vi kunne tage afsted dagen efter.
Vi vendte tilbage til hotellet og rejste sagen med receptionisten på vagt. Hun var også meget ked af det. Jeg bad hende om at ringe til ConstructTOURS, hvilket hun gjorde. Hun rakte hurtigt telefonen til mig, og der var Aris igen. Denne gang tilbudde de at sende os til Blue Lagoon, et tilbud vi afviste.
Min store fejl var, at jeg ikke læste de negative anmeldelser fra andre TripAdvisers. Jeg undrer mig over, hvorfor Queen's Bay finder det passende at associere sig med en sådan skammelig virksomhed. Hvis du stadig beslutter dig for at booke hos dem - og du har alternativer - så vær forberedt på at blive skuffet. Vi var ikke de eneste.

We feel that we must first respond with the fact that this review has been reported due to false accusations and an inaccurate account of the events.
We have a 100% passenger review status and are one of the 10% top companies in the WORLD on this booking platform, which we believe, that alone speaks for itself.
However, we feel a response is necessary out of courtesy for any other passengers reading this inaccurate review. Therefore following a through review of our booking and collection records, we cannot agree with the characterisation that the tour was missed due to negligence on our part. Pick-up arrangements are coordinated according to the details provided at the time of booking, and our drivers operate on a fixed schedule to ensure all guests are collected and the tour can proceed on time.
Our representative attempted to offer alternative arrangements, including availability on the following day and an alternative excursion, in an effort to assist. Unfortunately, as these options were not suitable due to your departure plans, we were unable to provide a replacement tour on the same day.
We regret the inconvenience caused, but we respectfully decline responsibility for the circumstances described. We remain committed to providing professional service and assisting guests wherever possible when unforeseen issues arise.
We have also noted that should you book any other tour with us we will not be accepting the booking as you clearly would be better placed using another company or a private tour better suited for your needs.
