A considerable amount of walking is involved, approximately 1.6 km each way to and from the Snow Monkey Park via an unpaved forest trail. Please wear suitable footwear.
From mid-December to early April, the trail and park may be covered in snow and ice. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing. Rental boots and crampons (metal spikes for shoes) are available for purchase near the park.
From mid-December to early March, expect temperatures potentially below 0°C (down to -10°C), so dress warmly.
While it's common to see snow monkeys bathing in winter, from spring to autumn, they may play or eat in the water. As they are wild animals, their presence in the bath is not guaranteed.
On rare occasions, the monkeys may not descend to the park. In such instances, an alternative activity will be provided.
Lunch is scheduled at Monzen Terrace Enya. If this restaurant is unavailable, a comparable alternative will be arranged.
Infants aged 0-5 participate free of charge. Infant meals are not included and must be ordered directly from the restaurant as needed.
