Wonderful Wild Horse Excursion to the Northern Banks
Rhonda_B, October 2026
Our tour guide was so incredibly nice. He was very accommodating. He made sure we all had a good view of the horses. He shared the history of the horses. It was an incredible experience.

Unique beach experience
364pamk, October 2026
Beach Scenery was beautiful. Did not expect to be hunting for horses in a neighborhood between houses and in back yards. Guide was mostly worried about rules and fines. Very little extra tidbits about the area. Would answer sny questions otherwise Only spoke when outside vehicle, before leaving and 1 stop. A microphone would have been nice to talk to group while riding.

Disappointed for the price
beckynp, October 2026
The way the seating on the back of the truck was constructed made for an uncomfortable experience. Seating facing inward made it very difficult to observe the horses and the bumpy ride made seatbelts necessary.

Anniversary trip to see the horses
MaryAgnes2018, October 2026
Scott, our guide on October 6th, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable. He made the excursion enjoyable and fun. We learned a lot of information about the Outer Banks, about the horses, the Outer Banks and learned how close were actually to the Virginia state line while on the beach itself. We had an nice ride along along the beach and saw some beautiful houses and some deer too. Will definite do this again. A must do on your trip to the Outer Banks.

Bring a jacket, it is colder than you think! You will ride in the back of a truck and he moves pretty fast.
