Tumpak Sewu and Bromo...

Tumpak Sewu and Bromo Trekkings are OK, but Itjen trekking is difficult
You need shoes that can get wet for the waterfall and good trekking shoes for the volcanos

Intense trip, but 100% worth it
lauraaP3331JV, October 2026
Intense trip but worth it.
The local company that managed our trip was OURTRIP1st, we went with a private driver for all transfers (David or Dave) who was very attentive, every time we got out for an excursion he gave us a small bottle of water. He managed our hotel check-in and the last day's breakfast.
The 4x4 transfer for the Bromo excursion was also private.
As for the excursions, very affordable, except for the Ijen one, which is somewhat demanding.
The local guides take a thousand photos of you and at the end of the day they send them to you and usually make a video montage with music of the excursion with the photos and videos they take of you.
We went in the low season and there were people, but not as many as I had seen in some photos, they are three very crowded destinations, but knowing that you are going to be with quite a few people, even so, they are worth it.
Very grateful to everyone!! And especially to Dave.

I had the most amazing 3 days on this tour. Everything was planned very well down to the smallest detail. Especially cannot thank the guides and drivers enough for their passion during the tour and managing such a big group!

A must do experience
guptasakshi14, September 2026
I took the 3D tour with Mador Tours. First of all, hats off to the organisers for the planning. The 3 days were superbly planned. Everything from the transfers, guides, meals, and stays was top-notch. Our guides would assist us at every step. The three key destinations- waterfall, Mt bromo and Mt Ijen are out of this world. If you are in Indonesia, this is a must-do experience.

Amazing tour and staff
L1450MXcamilleb, August 2026
This tour was amazing! The guides and the drivers were so great. I had forgotten my passport and my wallet (which had money in it) at one of the hotels we slept in and the whole crew made sure I had my passport and each penny back. They really helped me out, and handled that the best way possible! I highly recommend them!
