Everything about this experience was perfect. Easy booking, great directions for meeting point. Our guide Carlos was very knowledgeable of the market and shared interesting facts.
The paella, or locally known as Arroz de Alicante, making was great fun, and we learnt lots of new skills and facts. Oliviera was an amazing host and showed a true passion for cooking. She is fun and full of life making the experience perfect.

1st class experience
Claire_G, October 2026
Started with a lovely tour of the market with Marko, who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Followed by a cooking experience with Oliviera and her two helpful assistance from Italy. Oliviera was great fun and enthusiastic about her cooking. Full of knowledge and made the paella or otherwise know locally as Arroz de Alicante a really fun experience. Lots of added extras to taste and drink. I would recommend this experience to everyone.

Wonderful market and cooking experience
707wesc, October 2026
We had an informative tour of a local market in Alicante as well as a wonderful cooking experience with an engaging chef. We learned how to make Arroz Alicante — a local adaptation of Paellas. The tour gave us a flavor of local culture and the community of the marketplace. The cooking gave us new skills in food preparation. The group was small and fit together well. The food we made was delicious and filling. And the wines were a nice addition to the experience. We enjoyed Carlos’ market tour and stories of local traditions. We also Oliverio’s teaching style and stories of cooking from Spain to Serbia.
