This activity is not really a tour but rather transportation via the local ferry operator. The info provided included a link to audio information; however, the link I received was not active, and I could not download it. The instructions for the specific meeting point were not as clear as I needed, so I had to reach out for more info.
The ferry experience itself was fine and served as transportation to and from the island. Once on the island, one is left to find a way to tour the island on their own which includes 3 options: by bicyle, by horse & buggy, or a mini-bus tour. I opted for the latter. Once has to arrange a pay for their own on-island touring. In fairness, the ferry does stop in front of the Cliffs of Moher on the return trip and plays some recorded commentary. Because of all of this - I don't think it's accurate for Viator to describe this activity as "Aran Islands & Cliffs of Moher Day Cruise" and rather it should be described as roundtrip ferry transportation to the Aran Island Inis Mohr.

Best Day on Aran!
Pioneer63312854377, October 2026
A beautiful day for a boat ride! Water was choppy so we didn't get close to the Cliffs of Moher. We chose one of the locals waiting to be our personal guide which was better than expensive bikes into headwinds. Our guide made sure we saw everything-- especially the Viking ruin & not miss the return ferry. Recommend this excursion highly!

We had a great day and blessed with perfect weather for mid September. Choices of bike, horse and cart or mini van to tour the island in a few hours available at the harbour. We enjoyed the banter by our driver/guide Tony who was very enthusiastic about the merits of this limestone based island.
The trip back via Cliffs of Moher was spectacular and a lovely contrast to seeing them from above.
My daughter and I enjoyed this trip immensely.

Be prepared to spend a lot of time in Inismor if you wish to avoid the touristy stuff.
And the seas can be really choppy!
