Customers are requested to arrive at Barton Springs Bike Rental & Tours 15 minutes before the tour's scheduled start time.
You will then be fitted with a pedal-assist electric bike, and we will cover its operation and safety procedures.
The tour commences with a ride towards the renowned Barton Springs Pool and the Zilker Park area.
Next, we visit the Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial and explore the Bouldin Creek neighborhood.
We then proceed into south Austin to admire the "Greetings from Austin" and the highly popular "I love you so much" murals.
Breathtaking views of the Austin Skyline from South Congress will guide the tour into downtown.
Here, you will ride through the city towards the Congress Bridge, home of the bats, and the State Capitol.
Halfway through the tour, we stop for coffee or snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot.
All bikes are included in the price, along with water during and after the tour.
Helmets are mandatory.
Please wear comfortable shoes suitable for cycling and bring your camera to capture the many excellent photo opportunities.

Rob was an amazing tour guide. The route is very easy to follow along and he will show and give you an insider's history of the city and big landmarks. If you're worried about riding in the city. Rob is great at directing you where to ride. We ended up having a personal tour of the city. It was a little hard to get to the shop due to having booked during the ACL Festival. But a LYFT solved that issue. I highly recommend this tour.
