Wow… fantastic cooking class

Wow… what an amazing experience. Started with a tour and education session on the ingredients we were using in the cooking class with Chef Geng.. then next stop the cooking school hosted along with his wife, son and team. The food was amazing and we learnt so much about what and how to cook our dishes. Plus we got the recipes as well. Highly recommend this. Best cooking class on Koh Samui.

An Unforgettable and Authentic Thai Cooking Experience! 🇹🇭🍜

We had such an amazing experience and would highly recommend this cooking class!
We started with a guided tour of a local market with Grace, which was absolutely fascinating! She introduced us to many different ingredients, including herbs, curry pastes, fish, and vegetables, some of which we had never seen before. She explained everything in detail and showed us how these ingredients are used in traditional Thai cooking. A big thank you to Grace for such an interesting and authentic market tour!
Afterwards, we headed to the cooking class, where we got to prepare all the dishes ourselves with excellent guidance. We made delicious Pad Thai, an absolutely fantastic coconut soup, and a traditional Thai dessert. Everything tasted incredible!
One of the highlights was that we even got to make our own fresh coconut milk from scratch! It was such a fun and unique experience. We also got to try coconut sugar for the first time, which was really interesting.
At the end, we even received all the recipes so we can recreate these delicious dishes at home!
It was a truly wonderful and authentic experience. We learned so much about Thai food and culture, had lots of fun, and enjoyed every single moment.
We would definitely do it again! Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience! ❤️

An absolute highlight of our trip!
If you’re visiting Koh Samui, do not skip this cooking class, you will regret it if you do!
Our host and chef Geng was an absolute gem. From the fascinating market tour learning how to pair herbs and vegetables with traditional Thai dishes, to cooking in his beautiful open air kitchen using fresh ingredients straight from his family garden, every moment felt genuinely authentic.
Geng shared his family’s cooking traditions and even trusted us with a secret sauce recipe passed down from his grandmother.
The kitchen was spotless and the food we created was absolutely delicious.
What really set this apart was Geng’s warmth, humour and genuine passion for what he does. His team were equally wonderful, helpful and polite.
Geng also knew we were celebrating my sister’s 60th birthday and surprised us with a cake and happy birthday sing along, such a thoughtful touch that made the day even more memorable.
We left with full bellies and beautiful memories. An experience that truly represents the heart of Thai culture.
Book it. You won’t regret it. 🙏
