Guided by a multilingual marine biologist, we'll venture into the vast blue to seek out iconic marine life, particularly dolphins. Along our stunning coastline, you might encounter up to 6 species of dolphins and 3 species of whales, promising powerful and memorable moments.
Our journey continues as we showcase some of the world's most spectacular rock formations, including the famous Algar de Benagil cave.

Excellent experience. Very knowledgeable guides with brilliant communication skills. We were lucky to see a pod of about 50 dolphins, including a juvenile. The captain ensured we stayed with the pod whilst the guides told us all about the dolphins. The trip was a few hours long which ensured we were able to go far enough out to see the dolphins. Highly recommended.

Extremely Disappointed with Tripadvisor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and refund process I experienced with Tripadvisor.
We were unable to attend our booked excursion because our cruise ship was unable to dock due to large swells and unsafe conditions for passengers. This was completely beyond our control, and I provided documentation clearly confirming that the cruise ship could not safely port.
What is particularly frustrating is that other passengers on our cruise were given full refunds for a very similar excursion under the same circumstances. I have documentation confirming that these refunds were provided, yet Tripadvisor has continued to refuse my refund request.
I spent significant time on hold multiple times while trying to have my case escalated, only to have the matter remain unresolved. After providing clear documentation and evidence supporting my request, I expected a reasonable and customer-focused resolution.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me extremely disappointed. When circumstances beyond a customer’s control prevent them from participating in an excursion, especially when the cruise line itself cannot safely dock, customers should not have to repeatedly fight to receive a refund.
Based on this experience, I will not be booking through Tripadvisor again. Customer service should be about listening, understanding the circumstances, and finding a fair resolution—not making customers repeatedly prove their case.
In contrast, I have had a far better experience with GetYourGuide, which I have found to be much more accommodating and responsive to customers when unexpected travel circumstances arise.
Tripadvisor has lost my confidence and my future business.

We understand how frustrating it is when travel plans are disrupted by circumstances beyond your control. As an independent local maritime operator, we schedule our departures, crew and vessel capacity based strictly on confirmed reservations. On that day, however, our tour operated as scheduled and your seats remained reserved exclusively for you on board, meaning we were unable to offer those places to other waiting guests.
Therefore, when a departure takes place as planned, our standard cancellation and no-show policies apply to cover the dedicated operational costs. Such itinerary disruptions caused by cruise lines are usually covered by comprehensive travel insurance policies.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by the booking platform's customer service and hope you will have the opportunity to visit the Algarve again in calmer conditions so that we can welcome you on board.
