Embark on an unforgettable adventure with our two distinct Blackwater Rafting experiences through the stunning Ruakuri Cave.
The Black Labyrinth, our original 3-hour tour, invites you to jump over two small waterfalls (the highest being 1.5 meters). You'll then float on a tube, marveling at an impressive display of glowworms as you navigate the cave's natural streamway. Participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh a minimum of 45kgs.
For the ultimate thrill, the Black Abyss is a 5-hour Blackwater Rafting tour. This adventure includes a 35-meter abseil into the cave, a zipline across a river beneath a grotto of glowworms, and a float on a tube through the natural streamway. All participants must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 45kgs.
Both tours require an average level of fitness and mobility. It's important to remember that these tours venture into a completely natural cave environment. Please be aware that your guides reserve the final discretion regarding your participation.
