Food and fun in Cagliari

One of the best food tours I’ve ever been on! Ricardo was great-very personable, attentive, interesting. He also was kind enough to give us some fab restaurant recommendations. When he tells you where the best gelato in town is, listen!
There was a vast amount of food; we had to take one place’s offering “to go” because we couldn’t eat another thing. There was a good variety on the tour, and everything was top quality. The places we visited were happy to accommodate food restrictions. We had wine at one place at the beginning and it helped make everyone a little chatty which made the evening more fun.
I highly recommend Ricardo’s tour of Cagliari’s food scene. It was a highlight of our trip.

Do this Cagliari food tour!

Good Cagliari food tour! Our guide, Francesca, was a capable host, knowledgeable and friendly. The tour stops were organized well and with not too much walking in between. The pace was relaxed. She seemed to know everyone and we got a warm welcome everywhere we stopped. The food and wine were really good and the service prompt. By the end of the tour (about 3 hours) we had had a good meal and had gained some insights into Sardinian culture, language, and history as well as cuisine. My only regret is that we did not finish off the evening with a gelato or other dolce rather than the folded pizza which was tasty, but not a sweet.
Francesca sent us requested restaurant recommendations via WhatsApp and said she would be happy to help us further upon request.
I would recommend this tour! Do it early in your visit to Cagliari as it will give you a god basis for further meals and exploration.

Recommended food tour.

We met Björn at the hotel and had more than two hours of interesting stories interrupted by local specialties. We were so full by the end of the tour that I had to skip the highlight—the tender, crispy pizzetta. That was the only regrettable part! Absolutely recommended!

Great tour and guide

Maya was our guide and she was fantastic! We learned so much about Sardinia and its food, history and much more. She was very friendly and gave us lots of advice on other things to do while we are here. We also had a lot of excellent food!
