Great trip to Caminito del Rey
Filip_B, October 2026
Had a great day visiting the gorge with guidance from Esmeralda. The trip was very friendly and well organised. The place itself was stunning but the walk was well paced, the weather beautiful and our Caminito del Rey guide, Pepe, was really friendly and fun. Can definitely recommend the trip and the fantastic people organising it. If you wonder about coming here, don't hesitate. Just take plenty of sunscreen, and choose the "high season" but balanced weather months, like October or November.

Imperdivel

Fantastic place! Excellent structure and security. It's only scary for those who really have a phobia.

Great day tour, everything worked out wonderfully.
You should wear good shoes and I would not necessarily recommend this tour in the summer for people who cannot handle the heat very well.

Caminto del Rey trip
572adriant, October 2026
It was a difficult day for our guide as we had torrential rainfall as we queued for the walk. He however left us standing in the deluge for 5 minutes before telling us to take cover. When the trek concluded and we walked to the rendezvous site for the coach, we had to wait for almost 40 minutes for the pick up as the bus was waiting at a different place. He blamed the bus diver but surely the guide was in charge of the trip and should have made sure that the driver knew what to do. The actual walk was fantastic but the organisation could have been a lot better.

Disorganized not worth the money, was carried out despite poor value

The trip was not cancelled despite heavy rain and a little thunder. We were left in front of the entrance in heavy rain without information. Everyone got soaked despite the rain. When the rain stopped, the guide took us through at a high pace, almost without the opportunity to stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The last part of the tour was the boardwalk closed due to landslide risk (stones) because of the rain, so we were led through a tunnel in the mountain. We had a feeling of being whipped through the whole trip at a high pace.
Long wait time at the women's restroom at the exit. Opportunity to sit a little before the guide took us up to the bus, which turned out to still be at the place where we were dropped off, so we had to wait half an hour for it to arrive. The guide should have made sure to have it under control, but the bus driver maybe didn't expect the trip to be completed because of the weather!
Absolutely incredibly poorly organized and in no way acceptable that we were left without information in heavy rain for half an hour. It says otherwise that the trip will be cancelled in case of bad weather, and that you will then be offered another date or get a refund. But then the company earns no money...
I was on the same tour 3 years ago, it was a completely different and good experience, where there was time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the safety distance between visitors was maintained. And good information along the way.
