Lovely Boat Tour
eviwolf, October 2026
The tour itself was lovely with the opportunity for several swims. The captain navigated the boat well. The group was small, which is always a plus. A major issue was finding the exact meeting point. Directions were not good at all. I could write much better directions. Even Itlalian police or the tourist office could not figure it out. Good we had plenty of time to sort it out. Other issues. Snacks were awful. Limoncello was a plus. The captain was a sweet guy but smoking should nit be permitted. The English of the crew was not good so communication was compromised. I would have appreciated a knowledgeable crew could offer some history, anecdotes, geological data etc, so something educational and entertaining. At this time of year, early October, we could simply have gone to the port and explored assorted small boat tours at lower prices. Having said that, whether it’s possible to find animated and interesting crew who narrate, I would not know.
