This was the best trip I have had in a very long time. I've been to Assateague, but this was so much more. Dolphins and ponies are my favorites, and I got to see both up close and personal.
We had a small group of people, and everyone was so nice. Captain Mike had so much knowledge and history of the island, it blew me away. I was so excited to see Captain Mike, and his tour didn't disappoint. I wish we could have stayed forever! I went with my cousin on a long-overdue trip during the first week of October.
My husband and kids are tired of me talking about everything I learned and showing all the pictures I took. It was fabulous. If you're in that area, make sure you reach out to Captain Mike and book the best tour of your life. I can't wait to get my family out on his tour. We had a beautiful day on the water with Captain Mike. He is a very knowledgeable and personable guide that knows all the great spots to see the ponies and explain their history and style of living…. What a fabulous tour! Mike's knowledge of the ponies and the island was impressive and he made every effort to ensure the we had a great experience. Not only did we see ponies, but we also had the pleasure of seeing dolphins too. The tour was beyond our expectations and we will definitely be returning !
