Discover the art of creating Culurgiones, a handmade Sardinian pasta, in this immersive cooking class. While making pasta is straightforward, mastering the traditional Ogliastra stitch to seal the filling is a delightful challenge. You'll learn to prepare the pasta dough, cook vegetables, and then be amazed as you practice this unique hand-stitching technique. Finally, we'll set the table for a delightful Sardinian lunch, complete with a glass of red wine. This experience often evolves into a warm, family-like gathering where everyone feels at home.

In the past, Sardinian mothers dedicated their day to crafting handmade pasta, known as 'Culurgiones,' while simultaneously preparing the tomato sauce and boiling potatoes. We aim to revive this cherished tradition by inviting you to help prepare a Sunday lunch.
Our session begins with making the pasta dough, as the potatoes and sauce simmer. We exclusively use durum wheat flour sourced from local Sardinian producers, and all other ingredients, including potatoes, mint, and cheese, come from regional farmers. After setting the table, we'll enjoy our lunch, accompanied by a glass of local wine and some appetizers, alongside the culurgiones you helped create.
Your mobile or paper ticket is accepted. One ticket is required per booking.

What's Cookin in Cagliari

What a lovely way to spend an evening in Cagliari! Our gracious host, Damiani, taught five of us the secrets to making traditional culurgioni. We enjoyed snacks and local vermentino while our meal cooked and enjoyed his homemade mirto after dinner. The three-hour experience is one we'll always remember. Highly recommend!!
