Very nice trip and great guides, even though the weather was cold
CG9672, September 2026
The river was fairly low in September so the trip was mild and scenic. The guides were great, very personable and accommodating and provided a nice meal. I was concerned the morning of the trip that it was 47 degrees and raining, but the rain stopped at 9am and they provided multiple layers of wet suits, booties, fleece and splash jackets. I bought gloves on site. The first part in the wind was rather cold but the gear kept us comfortable for the majority of the day, especially once the sun came out. The canyon was very scenic and river is beautiful. Shout out to Mozz, Tim and Frank for taking good care of everyone.

This was a great experience for beginners...the water was low and the rapids weren't as bad as I thought they would be. We had an excellent guide...and the lunch along the river was awesome.. highly recommended

The best thing I did in Montana.

I can't say enough great things about my experience. Our guide Phoebe on the raft couldn't have been better. Her knowledge of the river and area was phenomenal. She was bad ass. Moose played the harmonica a couple of times and we met up with another guide on the river name spoons and they gave us a great show with the spoons and harmonica. Moose cooked a great lunch on the river bank on an open fire. They even met my dietary needs for Celiac. My food was packed separately to ensure no cross contamination and I had everything that everyone else had to eat. This adventure is a must do !!!

Great staff, average experience

The all day white water wasn’t all day white water. It was a scenic float the majority of the time with minor rapids at the end. The guides were excellent and fun. The lunch was amazing. It just got a bit long just floating for 80% of the time

Fantastic experience! All the guides were great. I especially liked the one in our boat-- Big Mac. Well worth the cost. Don't forget sunscreen.
