A wonderfully planned...

A wonderfully planned full-day of sightseeing!
A walking tour of Oxford gave a glimpse of a vibrant college town, which included a short time for wandering about or shopping. The small Bampton Village stop was picturesque, but was highlighted for Downton Abbey fans, particularly with filming locations observed. And, Highclere Castle offered just the right beauty and experience to end the day. The timing provided was enough, but who would not like to remain a bit longer to soak in the history and charm of such lavish sites.

An incredible day
Virginie_P, September 2026
What can I say? This day was a moment of pure happiness. We discovered this magnificent city of Oxford, the village from Downton Abbey, and finally the wonderful Highclere Castle. With a special mention for our guide Eva, very friendly, cheerful, and our bus driver Carlos. I am very happy to have shared this day with my daughter. I therefore absolutely recommend it!!!

Robert and Zso Zso were wonderfully entertaining, they made the day trip fun.
Zso Zso was also very knowledgeable about the history of both the castle and Oxford.
I would recommend this tour to people wanting to have a nice day traveling outside of London.
