Find a value for money experience, but must be done.

This is a lovely experience, that we had with the family (couple plus two mature teenage daughters). The cost that we paid I think was pricy but sometimes you do pay, just for that piece of mind. The session was all day (pick up, experience and return). At all times, the crew kept us well hydrated, and as this was the Mauritian winter period, the crowd was less. Atmosphere was chilled, but there was music. The food was good, but there was not enough BBQ which was amazing. However, there was lots of drink!! There was time for snorkeling at the start. However, the beach at il aux cerfs (apologies if I have got the spelling completely wrong) was a bit too much, and there was not much to do there. Definitely a recommended activity, but maybe find a cheaper price, if you can.

Good fun, just get the right price
570priteshm, August 2026
We booked our experience (2 adults and two teenage daughters) via the holiday company. NB. Personally I think this was overpriced. However, the experience of the day and the hosts (Captain Roody, Billy? and Nando) was exceptional. They looked after everyone on the catamaran and to Ill Aux Cerf and back. They took us snorkeling and via the waterfall, which could not get too close as it was a big vessel and then to Ils Aux Cerf for our own time. Travel to there was via the holiday company. Food from the BBQ was amazing although more chicken would have been appreciated. However, the drinks did keep following!!! However, you go, this is a must do experience... Just get the right price.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your day onboard and that Captain Rudy, Billy, and Nando helped make the experience memorable. Our crew takes great pride in ensuring that every guest is well looked after, from the snorkeling stop and waterfall visit to your time exploring Île aux Cerfs. We're also pleased that you enjoyed the BBQ lunch and the friendly service throughout the day. We appreciate your comment regarding the chicken portions and will certainly share this feedback with our catering team as we continually look for ways to improve our guests' experience. Regarding pricing, rates can vary depending on the booking channel, package inclusions, and travel provider. We always strive to offer excellent value through our service, onboard amenities, food, drinks, and the overall experience. Thank you once again for your recommendation. We hope to welcome you and your family back on board during your next visit to Mauritius. Warm regards, The Catamaran Cruises Team 🚤☀️
