Incredible varied day!

Our most exciting day in Madeira! Picked up right on time and taken to all the sights, a perfect way to see them all - from viewpoints, to forests, to towns, pools and beaches, a bit of everything! Our driver was really excellent, chatty and with bits of info as we went around, kept everything exciting and always safe. Hugely recommend as a way to spend a day!

Honestly if you do one thing in Madeira you have to do the one day tour it’s fantastic from start to finish. Nico our guide was brilliant super informative, really funny and just great to be around. If I’m honest the tour was the last thing we did on our trip but it’s probably better to do it at the beginning so you can revisit any places you like the look of. So much fun, the off road sections are such a laugh and break the trip up. You get roughly 20/25 minutes at each location which is plenty for a photo op and hour and half for lunch. Definitely take a few snacks/water and warm gear good shoes for the paths at the Fanal forest section although it was ok with shorts and T-shirt when we went but just be prepared. We were with a large family group from Ireland on a 30th birthday trip in two 4x4 and tbh it enhanced the trip (if you read this I’m sure you know who you are) couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to share a day with.

We liked the tour of the island, it was very impressive! And it was documented in great detail by the guide, which unfortunately we did not understand well because our seat was at the very back! Unfortunately, the seats were NEVER changed, which would have been urgently necessary since EVERYONE pays the same price.... Otherwise, everything worked out :-)
