My wife and I had an absolutely amazing experience exploring the East and West Banks of Luxor, and a huge part of what made this trip so special was our guide, Noby.
Noby was not just a knowledgeable guide but also one of the most helpful, attentive, and caring people we met during our trip to Egypt. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey, took care of every little detail, patiently answered all our questions, and made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable.
What truly stood out was his warmth and genuine hospitality. He treated us with so much kindness that, by the end of the tour, he felt less like a guide and more like a member of our own family. ❤️
Exploring the incredible temples and historical sites of Luxor with someone so passionate and caring made the experience even more meaningful. We never felt like just another pair of tourists to him; he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience.
If you are planning to visit Luxor and explore the East and West Banks, I would wholeheartedly recommend asking for Noby. He will make your trip special, not just through his knowledge but through his incredible personality and hospitality.

Luxor tour

It was the worst tour so far.
Even though it was written as a one-day tour, it ended at 12 o'clock.
Moreover, I was taken to a stone shop that wasn't on the schedule and subjected to sales pitches. I don't understand why they wouldn't write that down in the first place if they don't want to feel guilty.
You think they'll hate it if I write it? I don't trust it at that point.
The guide encourages them to buy it because they have great skills, saying it's because they are family.
Then, you should buy it. Going to the souvenir shop is fine, but I feel tricked because I have no plans.
Nonsense.
One of the explanations of the tourist spots was very fast. It was a private tour, but they gave a full explanation at the beginning, and then it was free time.
I was told that the free time at that large Karnak Temple was 20 minutes.
I was surprised. I saw that the site says the recommended time spent is 3 hours.
I should have just booked a taxi charter without a guide.
I felt like I was just moving ahead alone without giving me time to walk or take pictures, only wanting to finish the work quickly. I was asked for a tip, but I feel it's not worth paying.
How about a half-day tour instead of a full day? Will I get a refund for that amount?
You are tired, so go back to the hotel, and I will give you the ticket for the Luxor Temple.
It's good that you're free from the afternoon.
I didn't want to be together anymore, so we disbanded.
I received sales pitches for other tours, but I have no intention of going. It's ridiculous.
It was good that we could travel between the many temples of Luxor by car. I wanted to see the Karnak Temple a little slower.
Even though I came all the way from Japan.
I wasted money and time. I do not recommend it.

The Best Luxor Tour with Emad and Tamer

Our tour of Luxor’s East and West Banks was absolutely incredible, and that’s entirely thanks to Emad and Tamer.
Emad is a phenomenal guide. His knowledge is deep, but more importantly, he knows how to deliver it in a way that’s engaging, clear, and genuinely fascinating. From the Valley of the Kings to Karnak and Luxor Temples, every site felt meaningful because of the context and stories he shared. He struck the perfect balance between guiding and giving us space to explore, and his passion for Egypt’s history really comes through.
Tamer, our driver, was equally outstanding. Navigating a full day across both sides of the Nile is no small task, but he made everything feel smooth, safe, and stress-free. Always punctual, professional, and friendly, he ensured we could just relax and enjoy the experience.
