Choose between Grade 3 (minimum age 14) or Grade 5 (minimum age 16) rapids. We are committed to being as flexible as possible to meet your needs.
Trips operate daily. A minimum of 2 participants is required from Jinja, and 4 participants from Kampala.

Full Day Whitewater Rafting

Our full-day excursion covers approximately 19km of the Nile River. We begin on the calmer waters a few kilometers below the Bujagali Dam, where you'll receive thorough safety training.
The day starts with 'Jaws,' 'Pyramid,' and 'Giggitty Giggitty' – enjoyable Grade 2 rapids perfect for honing your skills and building anticipation for the more challenging sections.
By the time you reach 'Overtime,' a significant Grade 5 rapid, you'll feel confident and ready for the adventure ahead!
Your mobile or paper ticket is accepted. Please present one ticket per booking.
Pickup service is included for travelers staying within Kampala.
Please meet at the reception office or at your designated pickup point.

Highlight of our trip. A reason to include Uganda in your itinerary. Rafting is so much fun and felt so safe. Stable rapids due to a dam. The start was right next to our lodge. Everyone in the group could choose their own level. Juma, our guide gave us all so much confidence. Always checking our gear and looking us in the eye for the next rapid. Explaining how to use the help of the kajaks around us. Our driver was in the boat without swimming experience, it was scary for him, but we thought him to float on calm parts of the river and after that day he wanted to take swimming lessons and even wished he had tried a rapid 5. We were all impressed that while Juma got flung out of the boat with a backflip, he flung himself back in before we could notice. He seems made for this river.
Food and drinks, extra sunscreen, on the water and on the way back were really well taken care of. Nice pictures taken by the crew.
