Big Al was an excellent guide. He knew great spots to stop for photo opportunities. I appreciated that he told us exactly what side to stand on to see the steam train over Glenfinnan Viaduct, since I saw people going in the opposite direction.

Mixed Feelings
Edward_W, October 2026
We were late because it was unclear where the meeting point was which really got us off on the wrong foot with the bus drive / tour guide. In the end, even though he was knowledgeable, he ended up being rude, abrasive, and not very approachable. The tour itself was excellent and the sites were incredible. Drive put everyone in bus on edge.
Response from the operator · tours_scotland We are glad you enjoyed the tour itself and hope you got some lovely photos of the scenery.
We are very disappointed to hear the negative experience you had with your Tour Leader, this is a very rare occurrence and is something we take seriously. Please be rest assured we will investigate this further.
