This is by far our most popular trip, a 3-hour rafting adventure that begins at our riverfront facility.
We journey approximately 9 miles upriver to the Shoshone Rapids, located in Glenwood Canyon on the Colorado River.
Prepare for an exhilarating start as your guide expertly navigates through class III-IV rapids such as The Wall, Tombstone, Maneater, and Superstition.
As the journey progresses, the river gradually calms, and your guide will share fascinating insights into the rich history of Glenwood Canyon and the Colorado River.
During lower water flows, natural hot springs merge with the river, offering an opportunity for a relaxing soak.
Your trip concludes back at our private river ramp at the facility, allowing for a seamless transition from the raft to warm showers, your vehicle, and belongings. You can also view photos from your trip immediately.

My group and I had the best experience! The staff were so kind and helpful. We felt taken care of before, during and after the trip. We had "Uno" and he was so professional an welcoming; it wouldn't have been the same without him! Additionally, the trip was a blast; we loved the fun names for each rapid and the fun facts that were given. 10/10 experience

Great experience

Excellent fun. “Big Mac” was a great guide, and also full of tips about whole area. We were there when water levels were very low (in Fall and area in drought) so there were some minor rapids but mostly a “lazy river ride” for most part. Canyon scenery is spectacular.

Don't hesitate, book it

Staff is great. They all know exactly what to do and look like they are having a great time doing it. Scotty was our guide and he was fantastic. But we heard the same kind of comments from the passengers on the other 8 boats as well. Highly, highly recommend this trip.

Best Company in Glenwood! Don’t hesitate to book now!
Jacquelyn_P, August 2026
Absolutely love Whitewater Rafting LLC, this was our third trip with them and the company is by far the best in the Glenwood area!
We were super excited to have the same rafting guide as our last adventure, Stacks.
He was entertaining, safe, patient, and so kind to my mother who was having some mobility issues at the time. In addition, two in our group could not brave the rapids and we were able to pick them up down river and still have them enjoy a nice float and the hot springs- so very accommodating. This company very much came through on our requests, haha.
We can’t wait to go back next year! Thank you for a wonderful trip as always!
