Activity Details 2 h 30 Embark on a guided eco-tour at Big Hickory Island in Bonita Springs. Choose between a standard or CLEAR kayak or paddleboard. We'll paddle at a relaxed pace, seeking out dolphins, birds, and manatees while sharing insights into the local ecosystem. Open seven days a week, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service for a fun day on the water. Our paddling routes are among the best in Southwest Florida, offering access to mangrove trails and tunnels, the Gulf of Mexico, and the beautiful island beach. You'll have opportunities for close encounters with marine life, with frequent sightings of dolphins and occasional manatees (during summer). We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bottled water, and water shoes. CLEAR kayaks have a weight limit of 400 pounds per boat and a maximum of 225 pounds per seat. Standard kayaks offer higher limits and better tracking. Clear kayaks are designed for two people, so please book in even numbers. HOBIE pedal kayaks are available upon request. Contact us with any questions. The minimum age for participation is 3 years old. We provide youth-sized PFDs, but parents are advised to bring a well-fitted PFD for children under 50 pounds.

By booking this activity, you agree to the Paddle Naples Waiver of Liability. This Kayak/SUP rental agreement is between Paddle Naples LLC ('Lessor') and the Renter(s), encompassing all individuals participating in the tour. A digital signature or payment for the tour by or on behalf of the Renter signifies acceptance of these terms, applying to all adult and non-adult family members.

This agreement constitutes a WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. The Renter agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify the Lessor and its owners, agents, officers, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, or otherwise, that may arise from the Renter's use of kayaking or paddleboarding equipment, premises, or facilities, or the Renter's participation in kayaking or paddle sports activities.

The Renter understands they are releasing, discharging, and waiving any claims or actions, present or future, for the negligent acts, omissions, or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers, or employees of Paddle Naples.

THE RENTER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES THE RISKS OF THE ACTIVITY AND RELEASES the Lessor from liability for negligence. The Renter HOLDS HARMLESS the Lessor, its owner, and its employees for any loss, expense, or cost, including attorney fees, arising out of any damages or injuries to persons or property occurring as a result of the rental.

Great experience. For the life of me, I cannot remember our guides name. She was knowledgeable about the area. Her love of nature was evident in everything she said and did. She even stopped, got off her paddleboard, pulled an upside down jellyfish out of the water so we could see it upclose ( it was beautiful!).

It was a great time of year to go. It was just us. It felt like we had a private tour. We interacted with Captain Steve and had an awesome time. We spent 15 minutes with a pod of dolphins which was so rare. They were coming up to the boat and swimming around the bow checking us out. We learned about Port Royal and then we experienced the magnificent sunset views. It was an incredible day.

We booked this guided kayak tour somewhat last minute and were not disappointed. The cost was very reasonable and clear instructions for pickup etc were provided. Our guide, Nick, was great! Very friendly and helpful. His local knowledge of the area history, wildlife, and plant life made for a great tour! Unfortunately we did not see any dolphins or manatees but plenty of birds, marine life, and collected some great shells. Nick even gave some great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend this tour and Nick!
