Established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel, the Blue Heron Fleet is a family-owned and operated business now in its third generation. We offer exceptional year-round fishing at competitive prices.
Our vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area, custom-built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed U.S. Coast Guard regulations. The cabins feature cushioned seating, space for catering, and well-maintained restrooms.
Both of our locations are conveniently situated just minutes from prime fishing grounds, which are 20 to 40 minutes away depending on the current productive spots.
Your fare includes a rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. Our experienced crews prioritize your family's safety and enjoyment. We operate two half-day excursions daily, and no reservations are necessary. Blue Heron also specializes in private charters for family gatherings, business events, and corporate functions, with options for both fishing and cruising.

Experience deep-sea fishing at its finest with our family-owned and operated fleet, boasting over 60 years of experience. Our vessels have been fully updated, and we provide new tackle. No other vessel within 40 miles compares. We are Coast Guard certified for your safety and offer separate, clean restrooms for men and women. We will fillet all legal fish caught at the dock. Keep an eye out for abundant birdlife, sea turtles, and often, bottlenose dolphins putting on a show. In 2019, we even spotted a large whale shark! Our crew is happy to assist everyone, from novices to experts. We love what we do, and it shows. Private charters for large parties, weddings, and sea burials are also available.
