Poor customer service
Tiffany_C, October 2026
I booked this excursion without realizing that I was required to have my own vehicle or rental car to participate. I take full responsibility for overlooking that detail. However, requiring your own transportation is a major detail that can significantly affect someone’s ability to participate in an excursion, especially when traveling on vacation.
Once I realized the transportation requirement, I immediately attempted to cancel my reservation. Unfortunately, I called the customer service number provided multiple times and received no answer.
I later received a group text from the tour guide, who informed me that due to the 24-hour cancellation policy, I would not be eligible for a refund. He then directed me to the exact same customer service number I had already been trying to reach for hours.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I wasn’t necessarily demanding a refund. I was simply trying to find out whether my payment could be applied toward another excursion that included transportation or whether some type of accommodation could be made.
Instead of receiving assistance, I’ve been met with unanswered phone calls, a lack of communication, and what feels like a complete runaround.
I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, and I respect that. However, customer service should not end once a payment has been collected. There should be someone available to assist customers when unexpected situations arise, especially when they are willing to explore alternative options rather than simply requesting their money back.
Overall, this experience has left me feeling extremely disappointed and honestly somewhat taken advantage of. I paid for an experience I couldn’t participate in, and despite making several attempts to resolve the issue, I have received no meaningful assistance.

An amazing experience
V1699ASfrancisr, October 2026
Wow, what an incredible experience. Came to PR for a family reunion and I wanted to push myself outside of my comfort zone so my mom (65), my fiancé (38), and I (38), did this! Ashley was an amazing tour guide, she told us about plants, animals, history, kept us together- just awesome all around. My mom was able to make the first part of the hike but then decided to stay here at this area of the river until we returned. The second part of the hike to the slide was more challenging, lots of slippery rocks, climbing rocks, and moments where I was humbled and reminded I really need to start doing some cardio back home! But Ashley and her guide helped Joel were amazing in making sure we all made it to the slide! Never in my life did I think I would do something so adventurous but I’m so proud of myself for doing it! Worth every penny, this was an incredible experience.
