Delightful tour with Màrcio Amaral
traveltheworld222, September 2026
Though our tour was back in May, 2026, I haven't forgotten what a beautiful day we shared with our tour guide, Màrcio Amaral. He was personable, knowledgeable and fun, everything you would want from your tour guide for the day. We had a tour May 28 and though it has taken me a while to make time to write a review, I have thought about our adventure each day since. My husband booked Hidden Gems of São Miguel directly with Pure Azores. We both highly recommend this tour. It was a wonderful way to see things we would have missed on our own, though we rented a car. I loved this island for many reasons, especially the natural beauty. We ran into Màrcio on another day when we were off on our own. It felt like running into an old friend. His engaging personality added to our experience.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review, even a few months later! It means a lot to know that your Hidden Gems experience has stayed with you. We’ll be sure to share your lovely words with Márcio, especially the part about running into him again feeling like meeting an old friend! Thank you for recommending Pure Azores, and we hope to welcome you back to São Miguel someday!
