Jossie was the greatest! Wear comfortable shoes.
Michael13, October 2026
Our tour guide Jossie was great, she has so much enthusiasm! You can eat all this food and much more without a tour, but Jossie gives you the context and history of it all. This tour is for people who know that food is culture and identity, people who want to know not just how food tastes, but what it means.
As a bit of a warning: there is a lot of walking and interacting with the city, we were exhausted and stuffed by the tour’s end! That’s exactly what we wanted, but people with mobility issues or children would probably have a hard time. Don’t have dinner plans afterwords, maybe 10pm tacos

What a fun way to explore Mexico City! We had such a great time on this food tour! Not only did we get to try so many delicious foods, but it was also a really cool way to see the city, explore different areas, and learn more about its history and culture!
Miriam was an absolute delight! She was so knowledgeable, personable, and full of wonderful stories that made the entire experience even better. We really enjoyed spending the day with her!
And the food was fantastic! Everything we tried was delicious, and there was certainly no shortage of it! Just be prepared for the full five hours and come HUNGRY because you will eat a LOT!
Overall, such a fun and memorable experience and a great way to experience Mexico City beyond the typical tourist spots. Highly recommend!

Tasted so many great foods on our tour. Appreciated learning a little history along the way too. Everything we ate was delicious and our tour guide Miriam explained the history of the meal and how it fits into Mexico City’s modern world.
