Day of snorkeling

We had a great time! We visited Caye Caulker during the rainy season and boy did it rain. The night before our excursion it poured. We were set to meet at the eco life office at 9AM and we emailed the office to make sure we were still on. Received a prompt message that it was still a go.
We were sized up for flippers and given a safety briefing and headed out. We were taken to several different snorkeling spots, each known for their normal spotting of different wildlife. Gaza and Keyes were great, they were helpful getting in and out of the water and helped identify different species of fish and such.
I poured most of the day, but we had a great time. Highly recommend.
Bring a wet bag or the like and have dry clothes to change into.

What a memorable experience. Probably the most amazing coral reef and snorkeling I have seen and done in my lifetime and I’ve been to a few places. Caption Chris and Caption Gaza were knowledgeable and accommodating. I appreciate they did not feed any of the sea life, making each expertise that much more authentic. The water was clear as bath water and the coral was so vibrant. The seas were a bit rough that day but was still enjoyable.
The excursion itself was wonderful, but the post-tour photo delivery was disappointing. My underwater camera broke, so I was really looking forward to the photos and videos Salt Life Eco Tours promised to email. Unfortunately, communication was very slow. When the files finally arrived, they were from a January 15th trip instead of my actual excursion on February 15th. Our day had crystal-clear water, but the footage sent showed murky water, making the mix-up obvious. Despite emailing them my exact date and guides' names, I haven't received the correct files. I loved the tour, but I really hope they can fix their photo organization.

Oh my God!!! Cannot stress enough the absolute blast I had on this trip with Captain Chris and Rick!! They were very knowledgeable.They kept everyone safe that was on the boat,, the lunch was amazing, and everyone had a wonderful time!
On this trip, we saw a dolphins, manatee, starfish, barracuda, a ship wreck, conch salt, shells, add infinitum!
If you’re ever in Belize, I highly recommend with 100 stars! Thank you for such an amazing trip!

Mark & Mary’s Hol Chan Snorkeling Adventure

This was our first excursion while in Belize. It was an absolutely incredible experience. Our guides Elvis and Adiva did an amazing job with our group of eight. We completed six separate snorkeling’s at various sites which included Shark Alley, The Conch Graveyard, Hol Chan Marine Reserve, a sunken boat plus two others. We saw an amazing variety of marine life which included Sharks, Rays, Turtles, Manatees and all kinds of tropical fish species.

Philip and Joseph are the absolute best! We met up at 8:45, checked in and from there we had the times of our lives. Snorkeling with sharks, stingrays, sea turtles and manatees! I love the eco friendly aspect of the tour keeping Belize’s wildlife safe! They also create a welcoming environment and fun time all day! MUST DO THIS TOUR!
