Save your time and money

⭐ 1 STAR – A complete waste of money. Disappointing show, awful food and appalling customer service We paid €126.85 for a family package for myself and my two children on 10 October. We expected a special evening and instead experienced one of the most disappointing attractions we’ve ever paid for. Let’s clear something up: the drinks aren’t “free”. They’re included in the package price, which customers have already paid. The repeated promotion of additional drinks before the show felt like an attempt to squeeze even more money out of us. The venue itself was a huge disappointment. After being told to arrive early, we entered a small, cramped space that was nothing like the impressive theatre experience we’d imagined. On our table were bowls of stale, soggy crisps and a platter containing what appeared to be a pre-packaged salad. The food that followed was awful, tasting like the cheapest reheated microwave meal imaginable. The show was excessively loud, underwhelming and simply dreadful. We were offered ear defenders for the children, but ear defenders don’t fix a terrible show. The problem wasn’t just the volume; the entertainment itself was disappointing, the humour fell flat and the audience participation felt staged and unconvincing. We lasted approximately 20 minutes before deciding our time was worth more than sitting through the rest. One joke involved a young boy being told to give forks to little girls as his “girlfriends”, followed by a joke about their father being his future father-in-law. I found this unnecessary and inappropriate in a family show. The drinks were an even more serious concern. I explicitly told staff that I do not drink alcohol when discussing the options. I was subsequently served several glasses of a red drink from a jug, believing it was non-alcoholic. I later discovered it was sangria. I became extremely unwell and vomited on the way back to our hotel. I cannot confirm the cause of my illness, but I expect a proper explanation about how this happened. Then there was the photography. A photographer approached us with a camera without properly explaining the purpose of the photographs. Afterwards, someone appeared with keyrings already printed with our family photograph, which we had never agreed to purchase. I immediately refused. The whole experience felt like another sales tactic. We left before the show finished and were told we could eat our meals outside on a cold, windy balcony. We eventually asked to sit inside. By this point, the entire evening had been a disaster. But the worst part came afterwards. I submitted a polite, detailed complaint requesting a refund. The manager’s response was sarcastic, defensive and deeply unprofessional. Rather than properly addressing my concerns, he sent me a photograph showing other guests applauding and used their reaction to undermine my experience. Other people enjoying the show does not invalidate our experience or answer my questions about the drinks, food and photography. €126.85 wasted. Excessively loud and disappointing entertainment, terrible food, serious concerns about the drink I was served, pressure to buy extras and a management response that made a bad experience even worse. I would not recommend this place to families expecting a genuinely special evening. In my opinion, the experience was massively overpriced and the attitude towards a paying customer who dared to complain was disgraceful. Save your money and look elsewhere
