Embark on an exhilarating journey through Joshua Tree National Park in a comfortable, open-air Hummer. Please note: this tour is unavailable from December to February due to frigid high-elevation temperatures. During these months, opt for our Joshua Tree Scenic Tour in our heated van. The park's elevation often results in temperatures 20–30°F cooler, so dressing in layers is highly recommended! Depart from the Palm Springs Art Museum at 8:30 am, which includes a scenic, air-conditioned shuttle ride. Alternatively, save by choosing our Yucca Valley Welcome Center departure, where the open-air portion of the adventure begins. The full tour lasts approximately 5 hours when utilizing our shuttle service. Explore breathtaking desert landscapes with a National Park-approved guide, uncovering the area's unique ecology and rich history. Joshua Tree National Park
Duration: 3 hours Park entrance fee not included Our shuttle van will transport you to the town of Joshua Tree, where we will switch to an H-1 Military Hummer to continue your adventure. We will ascend to the summit of Keys Point, a stunning overlook offering panoramic views of the valley below, stretching as far as Mexico.

Keys View
Duration: 15 minutes Marvel at a vista that extends for hundreds of miles. From this elevated point in Joshua Tree, you can see the Salton Sea and, on a clear day, all the way to Mexico. You might even spot your hotel from this escarpment that borders the famous San Andreas Fault. Observe the fault line itself, stretching over 800 miles, visible just below the ledge where we will stop.

Barker Dam Trail
Duration: 45 minutes We offer an optional one-mile walk along this trail, meandering through breathtaking scenery. Discover the monzo granite formations of Joshua Tree and forests of ancient plants that have survived the Ice Age. Your Hummer guide, a certified Wilderness guide trained in the area's geology and Native American history, will accompany you.

Cap Rock Trail
Duration: 30 minutes This location features an additional optional half-mile loop walk. Explore precarious rock formations balanced precariously atop one another. This is one of the most photographed spots in the park and is well worth a visit. Don't forget your cameras!

New national park regulations mandate that individuals must acquire their own pass per passenger.

These backcountry passes are called a PEDESTRIAN PASS and cost $15 per person over 15 years old.

Alternatively, you can use or purchase an annual pass valid for up to four adults.
