Discover the Bernese Oberland from a unique perspective on the water. Launching from Hightide's base in Bönigen, you will paddle across the vibrant turquoise waters of Lake Brienz, with the majestic Alps forming a breathtaking panorama in every direction.
The route follows the northern shore, featuring sun-drenched cliffs rising directly from the water, a 12th-century castle overlooking Ringgenberg, and secluded beaches dotting the shoreline. The pace is relaxed, with ample opportunities for photos, short breaks, and simply soaking in the scenery. You will spend about two hours on the water in total.
Evening tours offer a different ambiance as the lake becomes glassy and the sun begins to set behind the hills above Interlaken. This has become a favorite for those seeking a peaceful and unhurried end to their day.
No prior experience is necessary; this is a gentle, guided outing perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Non-swimmers are also welcome. For those with limited time, a 1.5-hour taster option is available to experience the lake.

My daughter and I had an amazing time on this kayak tour! The meeting location was easy to find and the staff helped me with parking. Our guide Ben was super friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t realize that photos and videos were included with the tour, but it was a great surprise. Ben captured some really great footage for us. He was relaxed and patient and really lovely to spend time with. I would highly recommend this tour!
