Hawaii Boat Tours
Avux99, October 2026
Did the 3 hour blue cave trip at 3pm. Choppy sea in Adriatic so didn’t go all the way to blue cave, saw Mamula island from a distance, then made an alternate stop at Port Montenegro, ‘if you want to buy something’, (ha) yes I’m sure I’m going to make an impulse expensive purchase in a 20 minute stop. Port Montenegro was of no interest to me personally & I would have happily not stopped here, but whatever floats your boat pardon the pun.
Didn’t then land at Lady of the Rocks cos the church closed at 5pm so why didn’t the boat go there first? Though I’m not sure if Hawaii do actually land on the island anyway to be fair. An American couple on board were particularly disappointed about this.
Also, should have spent more time in Perast than bother with port Montenegro as a plan B imho. Perast looked way more interesting to me and much more worthy of a longer stop than 45 minutes but that’s only my opinion of course. I’m giving the trip 3 stars because I got a 50% discount through the booking site through which I booked my accommodation. Might have been a lower score otherwise if I had paid the full price for the boat trip. Still, you got the ride & the views of the bay which are worthwhile (if you haven’t arrived by cruise ship anyway).

We had a lovely 3 hour trip. Our guides were friendly, helpful and informative and the boat was comfortable. Life jackets were available and anyone who went swimming had to wear them.

Beautiful and scenic tour. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Only disappointing side is part of our tour could not swim and the boat did not go into the blue cave. I was able to swim in and enjoy it but the others could not.
