We will gather at 10:15 AM at the designated meeting point in Guadalajara to depart on our included transport to the municipality of Chapala at precisely 10:30 AM.
As we begin the tour, we'll make a brief stop at Vicente Fernandez's ranch and his famous shop, "Los Tres Potrillos." Please note that entry to the ranch is complimentary and at the owner's discretion, so we cannot guarantee access.

Our tour guide did a great job throughout the whole trip. It was interesting learning the process for making tequila. I had taken another tour the day before at another tequila distillery in Amatitán, but some of the facts learned during this tour were not mentioned the day before. I liked that people weren't pressured into drinking as not everyone wanted to participate in the tequila tasting, and who were also able to choose how full of a shot glass we wanted. I think we could have been at the restaurant a little less time as once we were done eating we had to wait a while to move on to the next town. I also expected to get a free drink for the boat ride since it was mentioned in the post, but we ended up getting it after lunch for our ride to Ajijic, once we were in the van. It was tequila with squirt, but you couldn't really taste the tequila. Overall, it was a great experience.

DO NOT BOOK with this company. I was cancelled on the day of the tour due to lack of more bookings. It is not a reliable tour company.
I received a called from Juan Pablo the assigned tourist guide the night before the tour to let me know there was no other reservations besides mine and if no one booked between then and the next morning the tour had to be canceled.
I just don’t appreciate this kind of situation. I had to improvise and change plans.

Excellent tour, we were at Vicente Fernández's Hacienda and his store, then we went to a tequila and liqueur tasting at Casa Calera, they took us to have lunch at Arcas restaurant on the shore of Lake Chapala, upon finishing we took a boat ride on the lake, from there to the very picturesque town of Ajijic, and we finished with the town of Chapala, thanks to the guide Javi with his energy and good service we had a great time
