Lovely morning doing a cave tour
Richard_M, October 2026
Firstly, the views from the car park alone are spectacular. I took a 10am tour, which was quieter than subsequent tours it seems. There was a significant crowd on return from the cave. Our tour guide gave enough information to keep you interested, but also kept us moving. The cave 'ornaments' are stunning. Having the option to wander back in your own time back to the entrance and take photos is a nice idea. Wear something warm, there's a breeze that naturally runs between galleries that will chill you if youre not careful. The train ride down and up is a nice touch, keeps control of who's in a party going down to the cave.
Good coffee at the cafe. Adequate toilet facilities too.
Oh, and did I already mention the views from the carpark?

The cave was beautiful. ...

The cave was beautiful. It is very cool inside and you need good shoes as it is all walking. Our guide pointed out all of the different kinds of formations along with their nicknames. We took the early tour which was not as crowded as the later tour when we returned back. There is a nice view of the valley and a little cafe to grab a drink or bite to eat.
