Malcolm Douglas started as a professional crocodile hunter in the 1960s but later shifted his focus towards the preservation of these animals. He established the Crocodile Park in 1983 in Cable Beach, initially with only 6 large crocodiles, aiming to conserve and educate about these creatures.
Douglas produced over 50 documentaries, significantly contributing to wildlife awareness and conservation efforts in Australia. His work not only highlighted the importance of crocodiles in the ecosystem.

Lovely staff, very informative. Great fun talks and tour at the park. Was quite busy this day so difficult to see some parts. Would be nice to have a little more time to explore by ourselves after the tour before the bus leaves back to town.

We booked the tour through Cable Beach Resort, the bus picked us up on time with Candy as our driver, she made all feel welcome with her knowledge of Broome and surrounds with a great sense of humour. The Croc Park was fabulous & Candy gave us an insight into it's history, very interesting and well worth the trip.
