Fantastic TOUR. Book it!
jayhnemec, October 2026
My wife and I took this tour in early October. We’ve traveled to quite a few places around the world, and Mallorca is my #1 destination anywhere. This tour was a fantastic way to experience the island.
If you’re spending multiple days in Mallorca, I highly recommend taking this tour on your FIRST day. Niels is an incredible resource and can help you tailor the rest of your stay to the things you’re most interested in seeing and doing.
Communication was EXCELLENT from start to finish. We were visiting Mallorca on a cruise and booked through TripAdvisor. Niels texted us the night before to coordinate our pickup time and location. He also made sure the schedule worked well with our ship’s departure time, so we could enjoy the day without worrying about getting back to the port.
The key to this tour is the guide himself. Niels isn’t originally from Mallorca, but he has lived there for 12 years, and I think that’s an advantage. He understands the island while also having a good sense of what visitors want to experience. He runs a one-person operation, handling the bookings, driving, and guiding himself. You’re not just another reservation on a big tour bus. Niels is personally invested in making sure you have a great day.
The group is limited to eight people, and we had a full group of eight. The van was comfortable, and the smaller vehicle allows access to places that large tour buses simply can’t reach.
Another big plus: no third-party interests, no mediocre group-tour lunch, and no stops designed to push you into tourist-trap shops. Instead, you get great information, beautiful villages, spectacular viewpoints, and transportation between places you might never discover on your own.
We came away feeling that we had experienced a much more authentic side of Mallorca than we would have on a typical large-group excursion.
If you want to see the real Mallorca, I highly recommend this tour. And if you’re staying on the island for a few days, book it for your first day. You’ll be glad you did!

Best tour
Brent_L, October 2026
We have been doing excursions/tours for over 28 years. This has to be hands down one of our best tours ever. Nield is amazing, the best part, he does not talk forever like most tour guides. He gives you the information and sends you on your way. If you need more details he is more than happy to assist you, but does not hold up the rest of the group.

An Absolute Must-Do in Mallorca!
Jenny_D, October 2026
This tour was absolutely amazing and a must-do when visiting Mallorca! The mountain scenery was breathtaking, and the entire experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Jans was the BEST tour guide! He was knowledgeable, personable, and made the day so much fun. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting Mallorca, don’t miss this tour. We would recommend it 100% and would do it again in a heartbeat!

A great way to celebrate my birthday!
Y9149NAelisar, October 2026
My best friend and I visited Mallorca via a cruise stop on our transatlantic cruise aboard Harmony of the Seas in July 2026. It happened to be my birthday so I was excited to spend it in Mallorca!
I sent Niels a message via whatsapp prior to the cruise to get meeting instructions and I completely misunderstood them (his response was an either/or choice on where to meet him and I thought it meant go to the #1 first and then go to # 2 so I'm sure it caused a little confusion) but he found us no problem. Only official taxis are allowed inside the port area so it makes private excursions a little tricky to meet up. We joined a family of 6, already in Niels' van, for a full day tour.
Niels quickly got us up to Valldemossa so we could tour the town before the arrival of all the tour buses from the cruise ship began flooding the city. Niels walked us around showing us a few highlights of Valldemossa and where Frédéric Chopin stayed while briefly living there. There is also a beautiful 13th century gothic church, Església de Sant Bartomeu (Parish Church of Saint Bartholomew), but it was closed for a private event and we couldn't go inside. Valldemossa is also home to a famous bakery called Forn i Pastisseria Ca'n Molinas (also known as Pastisseria Ca'n Molinas), which is known for coca de patata (a light, fluffy, sweet potato-based pastry).
After we left Valldemossa, we had a brief stop at a beautiful overlook, Son Marroig. Son Marroig is a dream wedding venue with sea views. We stopped here for about 15 minutes to take some pictures and enjoy the view.
From here we drove to the quaint town of Deià. The big draw in Deià is a luxury 5-star hotel called La Residencia. Sir Richard Branson owned the hotel from 1987-2002. We spent about 30 minutes here where we had free time to walk around and peak inside the hotel grounds.
After leaving Deià, we drove to Port de Sóller where we were given approximately 2 hours to shop, eat, enjoy some beach time - whatever we wanted to do. My friend and I enjoyed a laid-back lunch with waterfront views at a restaurant called Mar Y Sol followed by some delicious gelato! Niels had given all of us two options: we could wait and be picked up at a certain spot where he dropped us off, or we could take the tram! The Tranvía de Sóller is a historic electric tramway in Mallorca, Spain, that connects the inland town of Sóller to the coastal Port de Sóller. When in Spain....how could we resist the tram?! It was a very enjoyable trolley ride through countryside to Sóller and then we met back up with Niels and the rest of the group. According the time stamp on my pictures, it looks like we had about an hour in Sóller before leaving (although we did take an earlier Tram then Niels suggested - he just said to make sure we take a tram no later than a certain time).
On the drive back to the port, Niels took us to an overlook that has a beautiful view of the city and our ship before dropping us back off at the same location he picked us up. We could have walked back but we were very tired. Niels was so kind - he wanted to make sure the taxi drivers didn't take advantage and overcharge us for the short ride back to the port. He hailed a taxi for us and secured a price before letting us get in. It was a quick 5-minute ride and we were back at the cruise port ending a fabulous day in Mallorca.
I highly recommend Niels and this tour if you are ever in Mallorca!

Absolute must tour with Niels!
Janet_S, October 2026
Our trip was just what we hoped it was going to be, really nice places to see with our tour guide Niels who picked us up from our hotel on time. He is very knowledgeable with interesting facts. You really wouldn’t want to do this trip on your own as we went up into the mountains on winding roads & Niels knows them so well. He took us to places that probably wouldn’t be possible on your own. Travelled through orange & lemon groves with olive trees abundant. We met some lovely people on our tour & had lunch in Soller, then got the tram up to the church & later tried the local ice-cream which Niels bought as a treat.
A great day out…thank you Niels!
