Fun trip when in Moab
Deanna_G, October 2026
We truly enjoyed our float down the Colorado River. Our guide, "Bubba" was so informative on the area and shared many stories. Because of the weather being cooler and some rain, we weren't able to swim. A must when in Moab.
Response from the operator · Fun T Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Deanna! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your flotation trip down the Colorado River with Bubba as your guide. His storytelling truly adds to the experience, and we appreciate your understanding about the weather conditions.

What a great time

Our Moab Afternoon Half-Day Wild to Mild Rafting Trip on the Colorado River was outstanding. The entire experience was well organized from start to finish, and the staff did an excellent job making everyone feel welcome and prepared.
The tour guides were fantastic at making the trip both fun and informative. They interacted with guests throughout the tour, kept everyone engaged, and created a great atmosphere on the raft. Gavin, our guide, was especially memorable. He was energetic, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating information about rafting, river ecology, local wildlife, and the history of the area. He also had some great stories that kept everyone entertained along the way.
Even though the river level was low and there was very little whitewater during our trip, the experience was still incredible. The scenery was breathtaking, the rafting was relaxing, and the time on the river was enjoyable from beginning to end. Our group ranged in age from the mid-30s to the mid-70s, and everyone had a great time.
If you're visiting Moab, this is a must-do experience. Whether you're looking for adventure, beautiful scenery, or a fun and informative day on the river, this trip delivers. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator · Fun T Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad your whole group enjoyed the Colorado River, even with the mellower flows. It’s great to hear Gavin’s stories and river knowledge made the day extra special. Come join us again next time you’re in Moab!

Not what you expect for "wild rafting"
M6224GKroym, October 2026
Super underwhelming, not because of the team but because water levels have been so low in Colarado river this year. This company should make it a lazy river ride instead and lower the costs and set the expectations better for people coming from far and wide. Team has been great and trying to do their best.
Response from the operator · Fun T Hi Roy, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed in the level of adventure on the Castle Valley section of the Colorado River in Moab with us, but happy to hear you enjoyed your guide team on the river. While the water levels are lower than average for this time of year, they are still in what we consider a normal flow range thanks to the reservoir releases throughout the Upper Colorado River Basin. Additionally, this trip is the most mild rafting trip we offer, and it is designed to be a scenic float with amazing views, calm sections for swimming, and a few class II splashes. For those looking for more adventure we typically recommend inflatable kayaking since the class II waves feel a lot bigger in a small kayak than a 16 foot raft. If you received conflicting information about this trip prior to joining us, we'd greatly appreciate it if you contact us directly to let us know where. We always want to ensure we are representing our trips transparently. Lastly, we offer many more adventures across Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. We'd love to help you find a trip that better fits your desired level of adventure for next time!
