Discover the less-traveled neighborhoods around Jean-Talon Market on our unique food tour. Begin by learning about the local Latino community through a visit to a family-run shop, followed by a stop at a beloved Salvadoran eatery frequented by locals. We'll explore the diverse communities that shape the area and, when open, visit Little Italy for a taste of its iconic bakeries.
Jean-Talon Market, the largest of its kind in Canada, offers a farm-to-table experience with cheeses that evoke a sense of rustic charm. Explore a spice emporium, discover other notable vendors, and savor some of the province's finest charcuterie. Seasonal surprises, like a forager's finds, may also be featured, ensuring you'll want to return to the market after the tour.
In Little Italy, we'll wander the streets, enjoy third-wave coffee, and delve into Montreal's progressive coffee culture. Our journey continues to an award-winning bean-to-bar chocolate 'factory' for a tasting of some of the city's finest artisanal chocolates.
This tour is led by 100% locally owned and licensed guides.

Fall in love with Montreal

See Montreal through the eyes of a local! Feast on the tastiest morsels, see authentic street art, meander through hidden green spaces, support local businesses, marvel at exquisite architecture! You will feel like you serendipitously happened upon it all at a perfect pace though of course it has been painstakingly orchestrated by the owner Danny and his team. You will learn, eat, laugh and wish you the tour could go on forever.

An excellent food tour in Montreal.

We really enjoyed this food walking tour. Our guide Jesse was great. He combined varied and good global foods not normally associated with Montreal and with really interesting backstories and history. It was away from the old touristy centre so we got to see another part of the city. It was a small group that meant we had a lovely time with the other tour members. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
