The ultimate Mount Etna tour-highly recommended!

We booked this tour to Mount Etna and this was spectacular from start to finish! Gianni our tour guide pick us up right on time in a comfortable vehicle and drove us up to some of the most breathtaking lava fields and extinct craters. Gianni made our entere group fell completely safe, providing excellent safety gear, checking on everyone’s pace and navigating the volcanic terrain effortlessly. Gianni was incredible passionate, sharing great stories about how local life and agriculture adapt to the volcano! Gianni and the other guide brought us into a stunning volcanic lava cave where they explained about the cave history and legends of the region! Very interesting and fascinating! They are very knowledgeable and wonderful tour guides! The tour ended with a visit to the Gambino winery where we tested the Gambino wines all then with a great quality and good taste! Very recommended! Gianni was above an beyond to make this a magical day over the clouds!

Nancy, our driver and guide, was wonderful. So friendly. She took an interest in making our tour very personal and enjoyable. The tour was not promoted as a private tour, but it turned out to be, and as such, was especially enjoyable. Comfortable convenient access to Mt Etna sights and experience was a plus. The food and wine for our tasting stop was wonderful, as was the scenery from the winery. All in all, Very enjoyable!

Loved our day with Luca. He was funny, very knowledgeable, and helpful during the difficult parts of the hike. Would have loved to see Etna more active or some flowing lava but only Etna controls that. The Gambino Winery was lovely and we really enjoyed our group of 8.

I had such a wonderful day with Luca yesterday. His smile and energy are infectious. And his understanding of. Geology and ability to weave what he knew into what we were seeing as we walked up Mount Etnain such an approachable way was extraordinary. And lunch and the wine tasting at Gambini Vineyard .. truly over the top. I’m sort of a harsh critic and have only written a few reviews over the years, but all of this needed to be said and recorded. Grab a day with Luca if you can.
