Great spot to view the northern lights. Friendly atmosphere. Lots of beverages and cookies in the cabin. Very nice pictures with the background of the aurora. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended!!!

Be an informed consumer
Jeff_Nac, October 2026
Please be an informed consumer. Try to understand the KP levels so that you dont have to waste time and money. Please get information about the KP level at least two days before your trip. This way you would be able to know if you need to cancel the trip. The trip company would not advise you ahead of time if the KP levels are low which means less possiblity to see the Aurora. Again, please be an informed consumer.
Response from the operator · Hi A Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your feedback. Please understand that KP is only one factor in aurora visibility. A low KP does not mean you won’t see the Northern Lights, and a high KP does not guarantee a sighting. Cloud cover and local weather are equally important. With over 1,000 nights of experience, we’ve seen beautiful auroras even at low KP levels. Forecasts can also change, so we encourage guests not to rely on KP alone. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and no tour company can guarantee a sighting.
Thanks again,
Joy

Worth Trying Even When Weather Uncooperative
783devong, September 2026
The guides were very sweet, professional and generous. The weather was uncooperative for us, which was out of their control but they did kindly share with us some spectacular photos from the night we left so that we did not feel like we missed out completely. Will book with them for a future trip.

This company provided everything that is stated There. Freeman answered all questions that were asked. The only suggestion I have is for the driver to go into the hotel lobby and retrieve the quest.
The attentiveness was greatly appreciated!

Better luck next time!

Really nice cabin; cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not see the lights which I understand is not in anyone's control. I understand that it is up to the customer to cancel or reschedule, but I do wish that maybe the host could just keep us updated closer to the time - just saying if it's not looking great and to consider rescheduling or canceling, as we are not the experts in the conditions or likelihood, and at that point it could be up to us on what we would want to do. But again, we understood the chance we were taking, just a lot of money to spend. We had been watching the forecast ourselves but thought there could still be a chance. We were told it was not looking good as soon as we arrived which was disappointing. The host was still very kind and apologetic about the conditions, which I appreciate. The drive was a little stressful with not great road conditions (deep potholes on an unpaved road, slippery since it's just dirt). We chose to drive ourselves so we took the chance but just want to warn others especially if you do not have a great car. We wish we were able to have a better night, as everything else about the cabin and property for viewing were great. Just sharing my experience!
