Great introduction to Santa Fe food & culture!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Jose! His enthusiasm and knowledge of food, culture and history of Santa Fe made it much more than just a food tour! Food was great at each stop but the chocolate stop at the end was amazing!! Would highly recommend as a good start for a visit to Santa Fe.

Jose is passionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. He gave us a whole list of recommendations, of which we used two that were great. We loved the food at every stop. The taco at El Charro was so simple (in the true Mexican style) and so good. Enchilada in New Mexican style (red and green chile) was my favorite in Santa Fe. Churro Bar was wonderful. Jose’s descriptions of the history and challenges of the cuisine was fascinating and thought provoking. In sum we were delighted.

Excellent guide and tour
jrobinson2280, October 2026
Jose was personable, very informative and knowledgeable about not only the food scene but how it intersects with the history and settlement of the New Mexico area. Each of the restaurants were very different from each other taste wise but embraced the tastes of Santa Fe. I would suggest this tour to get the feel and flavor of Santa Fe.
