Begin your evening with pickup from your accommodation in Rovaniemi and depart in a small group (max 8 guests) by minivan with your guide.
This experience is conducted as a true Northern Lights hunt, with no fixed route. Your guide continuously adjusts the plan based on real-time weather and Aurora forecasts, traveling long distances in search of clear skies — including crossing the Swedish border when conditions require.
You may visit multiple locations during the night, stopping in carefully selected areas away from light pollution to observe the sky.
Your guide will also assist with photography, capturing high-quality images throughout the experience.

Our guide ( Abdulkadir ) took us to a frozen lake, far from any light pollution. He tracked the clouds in real time and moved us to different spots to find the best sky. He also took excellent photos of us. Then, green curtains of light with purple edges filled the sky. At the end, he offered us a hot tea. Everything was perfect and magical. Aurora sightings are never guaranteed, so book more than one night. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This tour makes all the best efforts to make you see the Auroras. Nice new van, that drives up to 8 people to spots to see it. I had it twice. On the first day our guide was Aurore (her real name by coincidence) and she was amazing, very carefull for safety, ponctual, she made great unlimited photos, and she understands a lot of astronomy, so even when Auroras was calmer, she would still entertain us with her knowledge. The other day was nice too, but the guide seemed a bit lost on where to take us for the tour. Note that both tours didn't last as much, we were back a bit after mid night, which was great for me because I was with a kid.

A Wonderful Aurora Adventure with Aneeq

I had a wonderful trip with Aneeq. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating facts about Finland and the Northern Lights. He cared about our comfort and was always happy to answer questions. He is also an expert aurora hunter and a talented photographer. Although all the indicators were low that day (October 1), we witnessed a beautiful substorm. It took about 7 hours to drive to Sweden and back, but it was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Aneeq and the Arctic GM support team, for such a wonderful memory!
