This section is great for beginners or the experienced rafter with over 20 continuous class III & IV rapids.
With plenty of places to surf and play, you’ll see why thousands of folks return year after year to raft this classic 5-mile run.
Starting just below the Ocoee Dam No. 2, you’ll encounter your first big rapid, Grumpy’s, then its on to Broken Nose, Roller Coaster, Table Saw, Hell’s Hole and many more.
Top that all off with a great place to swim about half way down and you’ll certainly become “one” with the river.

After a brief orientation, you'll board our bus for a ride into the Cherokee National Forest with views of Lake Ocoee and the river on your ride to the Ocoee River.
Your Middle Ocoee adventure will begin at the Ocoee #1 Dam where your guide will go through a complete safety orientation with practice time before getting on the river.
The Middle Ocoee River is 5 miles of class III/IV whitewater, featuring 17 major rapids and is 90% whitewater giving you miles of big waves, action and fun.
As you descend the river gorge you'll be immersed in the beauty of the Cherokee National Forest.
Your smiles and laughter will get bigger with each rapid as your confidence builds.
This is the perfect bonding trip for family, friends and groups alike.
No experience necessary!
At the end of your river adventure, the bus will bring you back to the outpost where you'll get a chance to look at photos from your trip and change back into dry clothes.

Everything about the organization is top notch, starting with ownership down. Great people, very knowledgeable, professional, with safety and your enjoyment the number one priority. I stayed at white water rv park which also was an extremely well run rv park. They picked me up and dropped me off to make the whole day even easier. I was in a smaller raft with 2 other people and our guide. He took us through the III’s and IV’s with skill and precision making sure we were safe but getting the most exhilarating experience possible. Thanks Josh. I will be back.

I loved all of it and my trip guide. I feel like the guide either makes it or breaks it and my guide definitely made my trip amazing! I’m not positive of his name but I think it was Raymon or something like that. Soo much fun, great personality, and hilarious. Definitely an instigator on the water, but I enjoyed it. Looks like a great job, I wish I lived closer so that I could have a job like that!

Booked this trip to take with my son for his 18th birthday. I was a bit scared going as I’m not the adventurous type. It was the highlight of our adventures for the weekend.
