We chose the afternoon group tour from downtown Bayeux - with tour operator Bayeux Tours. Our guide was Irene. My wife and I were with our three daughters (ages 13, 11, and 9). Irene was excellent. She was especially good for our daughters, bringing the facts to life for their young ages and keeping them focused. The level of detail was fine as well for us adults. We made it a day trip by train from Paris to Bayeaux, returning to Paris on the 8:15pm train departure from Bayeux train station. So the afternoon tour was perfect. Highly recommended and thank you!
