Each tour is led by an experienced Navajo guide, certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Department and the National Park Service. Our guides were born and raised in the Canyon De Chelly area, giving them extensive knowledge of its history to share with our visitors.
Beyond learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites, and other archeological wonders, you'll hear stories and tales of life within the canyon. You may even have the opportunity (time permitting and seasonally available) to visit families who still practice traditional Navajo weaving, farming, and ranching, maintaining their lifestyle in this rural part of the Southwest.
We invite you to join one of our guides for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind tour. By booking, you support a 100% Navajo-owned and operated small business! Ahéhee' (thank you).

Wonderful experience. Leander is such a lovely guy. He is a wealth of knowledge about the Canyon and Navajo culture. He grew up in the Canyon and is intimately connected with the location and the vibe. This was a highlight of a many week western tour.

We had a wonderful time...
Steve_W, October 2026
We had a wonderful time with Ila as our guide. The canyon is beautiful and the stories that Ila shared brought the canyon to life for us. We loved learning about the traditions of the people who have lived the the canyon for generations. We could not have asked for a better guide.
