Great value tour of the beautiful north

Excellent day trip as part of our honeymoon in Mauritius. Really enjoyable tour of the north of the island, see lovely beaches, the waterfront market in Port Louis, the botanical gardens, plus the beautiful Chateau de Labourdonnis with rum tasting to round of the day. Our host was Sailend. He collected us at our hotel, on time and was thoroughly gracious and kind host throughout the day. He gave us good insights into the island, and various places where we visited. Recommended day trip and lovely to get out and about in the beautiful island.
Special mention to the providers of this trip. Our first booking was cancelled due to the civil unrest. They organised a full refund quickly and then we were able to rebook once things had calmed down.

Great tour covering the main places of interest in the north of the island.

Great tour which covered all the main attractions in the North. Our guide Ankush was very informative and helpful; we had a brief history of Mauritius at the beginning and he threw in lots of snippets of information throughout the day. We had plenty of time at each stop and lunch was great. Overall good value for money, would definitely recommend.

We went through the excursion agency Chucky Taxi Mauritius, and we were not disappointed. We were on a private tour with a couple of friends, it was great. Mervin was our guide for the day. He shared the history of his island with us and showed us magnificent places. We spent as much time as we wanted at each place since we were alone with him. This is a reliable agency that you can trust and book with your eyes closed. Thanks again to them for having us spend this magnificent day.

I'm not one for writing a review but had to give these guys the credit they deserve. Booking via Viator was simple. Our driver and car details were made known to us the night before. We were picked up from our resort in the south dead on time and did the full private north tour. Our driver, Mervin, was brilliant. He gave us the history of the island as we made our way up north and answered any other questions we had. We did the usual tourist stops but flexed the itinerary to allow more time in the botanical gardens. Mervin was happy to park up and take a few photos of us at the local places of interest. Even made time for a quick dahl puri stop. Delicious. Overall the tour was certainly value for money. I would thoroughly recommend Chucky Taxi and ask for Mervin if he's available.
