EXCEPTIONAL
mariannamL5006XI, September 2026
An experience that we will truly carry in our hearts.
At River Tribe we had a great time: it was a place where we rediscovered ourselves, completely disconnecting from everyday life, and we regenerated in the true sense of the word.
A special note goes to the entire staff: a group of really nice, kind, and always available guys. They are a beautiful group and pleasant company, capable of making you feel part of them immediately, almost as if you had become part of a big family of friends. And it is precisely this atmosphere that, in our opinion, makes River Tribe so special.
We chose to sleep in a suspended tent in the woods, and here you need to have a bit of a spirit of adaptation. The forest area has been left as natural as possible and that is exactly the beauty of it, but you need to be prepared: being immersed in nature and near the river, there are several mosquitoes and at night you feel a lot of humidity. With the right equipment, however, everything becomes much simpler and the experience is absolutely worth it.
And then the rafting… a must-do! A UNIQUE experience, which offers emotions, colors, and sensations that are difficult to experience elsewhere. It was one of the best moments of the stay and we really recommend everyone to try it with them.
In general, everything was really beautiful: nature, people, atmosphere, and experiences. We left with the feeling of having truly stopped, breathed, and found ourselves a little bit. An experience we would gladly repeat.

BEAUTIFUL BUT DOESN'T DANCE
B4415UIgaetanod, September 2026
I premise: mine is a purely personal rating, based on my standards and on my experience lived firsthand in August of this year.
Let's start with the strong point, or rather, the very strong point of this campsite, which certainly raises my rating: the location.
River Tribe is simply magnificent. The scent of nature pervades the entire environment, giving a feeling of deep and almost spiritual immersion with what surrounds it. I had never seen a campsite like this (at least for now).
Now let's move on to everything that, in my opinion, should be reviewed.
1) Reception and staff
The staff was very disorganized, unprepared and, it pains me to say it, in some cases even unkind (except for a blonde, curly-haired girl, whose name I unfortunately don't remember).
Suffice it to say that I had to unload all the equipment in the parking lot, under the sun, on August 14th with 35 degrees, because it was not allowed to bring vehicles inside. I arrive at the reception and, at the same time, I see a car that was unloading everything directly inside the campsite.
After pointing out this small discrepancy in treatment, the response was the coldest of: "I don't know, I didn't give the permission."
Another disconcerting episode for me: my power adapter for the electricity station broke, and I didn't receive the slightest help from the staff. The one who helped me was, instead, a kind camper.
Or the fact that several guys next to me were bragging about having gotten in without paying and that no one had noticed. I was the fool who, as soon as I arrived, registered, paid, and asked for information.
I don't even want to tell you about the dispute that arose in order to be able to set up the tent. To make a long story short, my partner, fortunately (and I really mean by chance), met the campsite manager, who gave us the possibility of having a space at least close to a bathroom, given my partner's needs.
For the rest of the staff, however, she could easily stay in the farthest part of the campsite, totally immersed in the woods, where the nearest bathroom was several hundred meters away. And I am really keeping it very brief for you.
2) Crazy prices
Camping has always represented, for many vacationers, one of the most economical ways to take a vacation. Here, however, in my opinion, the situation changes.
It is one of the few campsites where you don't pay for the pitch (because obviously there isn't a real one), but you pay directly per night per person.
Result: €20 per person per night**, so €40 per night for a couple**.
With the same money, you can find a B&B with a few more services and, probably, a little less nature.
Honorable mention for the cost of rafting: I was asked for €75 per person.
Consider that, two years earlier on the same days, I was at a campsite not far from this one and I paid €50 per person for rafting and €5 per night for the pitch. So you can clearly understand why, under these conditions, I decided not to do any rafting at all.
3) Hygiene
From bad to worse.
There are very few bathrooms, especially in relation to the number of campers present, and I found them constantly dirty, at times truly disgusting.
Also, on a logistical level, in my opinion, they are distributed in a way that needs improvement.
There would be many other anecdotes to tell, even though I only stayed there for two nights. In the end, I preferred to leave, honestly, and I would say that we did the right thing.
I perfectly understand the value of nature and I recognize that having a stream very close to one's tent, with crystal-clear and cool water in August, is quite a luxury.
However, honestly, asking for €40 from a couple per night without offering an adequate level of service does not seem fair to me.
At that point, I could have set up my tent in some woods nearby and, in some respects, I would have received almost the same treatment.
Honestly, I cannot explain how it is possible that this place has such a high rating.
I totally advise against it.
